  • Measured on site, or from dimensions you send me
  • UV-resistant, solution-dyed acrylic fabrics
  • Ties, velcro or zips, whichever suits the piece
  • Fabric matched to your terrace, not a catalogue

Cushions & soft furnishings

Scatter cushions, daybed sets, bolsters and throws, made to fit your furniture exactly. Indoors we can be led by how it looks; outdoors I use fabrics that shrug off the weather.

  • Any size, from a single scatter to a full daybed set
  • Indoor fabrics, or weatherproof outdoor fabrics
  • Zip, envelope or button closures
  • Piping and trims to match your room

Chosen for the sun, salt and storms.

The Costa Blanca is hard on fabric. Here's what goes into a piece so it lasts more than one summer.

Solution-dyed acrylic

For outdoor work, the colour runs right through the fibre, so it resists fading in strong UV far better than printed fabric.

Salt & damp ready

Fabrics and threads picked to cope with sea air and the occasional downpour, so covers don't stiffen, rot or go patchy.

Sewn to last

Reinforced seams and proper closures, because a cover that lives outside gets handled, moved and rained on all season.

From idea to finished piece, simply.

Working with me is meant to be easy. One conversation to start, honest advice along the way, and a finished piece that fits your home exactly.

01

Tell me what you're imagining

A rough idea is enough. Dimensions, a photo, a vague description. I'll ask the right questions.

02

We choose materials together

Fabric, thread weight, closures. I'll recommend what the job actually needs, yours or mine.

What a quote is built on.

There's no fixed price list, because nothing here is standard. A fair quote comes from a few simple things, and you'll always see it before I start.

01Size & quantity. A single scatter cushion and a full terrace set are very different jobs.
02Fabric. Your own fabric, or something I source. Outdoor acrylics cost more than basic cottons.
03Complexity. Piping, shaped pieces, zips and awkward corners all add time.
04Foam & filling. New foam or restuffing where the piece needs it, and whether materials are yours or sourced by me.

Kind words

★★★★★

"We had a large swing seat with a rotten, old fabric cushion so couldn't use the garden seat for the last year. I gave Cindy the old cushion and she's made a perfectly fitted, weatherproof cushion, fully lined and zippered so we can wash the cover as needed. Looks great, is really comfy with new stuffing. Couldn't be happier."

"Stitchy Witchy to the rescue! Spent a fortune on an umbrella for the cover to last less than a year. Cindy made this one far superior to the one that came with it, much better fabric and fits perfectly."

"Cindy is a fabulously creative individual who believes in great customer service and value for money. The quality of her work is second to none, you can tell she really enjoys what she does. I have no hesitation in recommending Stitchy Witchy for all fabric, yarn and decorative work."

Fabric, yarn and decorative work

Your questions, answered.

The things people usually ask before we start. Anything I've missed, just message me and I'll be honest with you.

Ask me anything

Either works. If you're in the Marina Alta I can come and measure so nothing gets missed. If you'd rather do it yourself, I'll send you a simple guide and check your numbers before I cut anything. Most people find measuring easier than they expect.

Both. Plenty of clients bring a fabric they already love and I'm happy to work with it. If you'd rather I source it, I'll suggest options that suit the job and the climate here, then order once you've approved. Your choice, and no pressure either way.

For anything outdoors I use solution-dyed acrylics, where the colour runs right through the fibre so it doesn't fade the way printed fabric does. They cope with strong UV, salt air and the odd storm. Indoors you have far more freedom, so we can be led by how it looks.

Usually two to three weeks from the moment you sign off the fabric and measurements. Larger jobs like a full terrace set can take a little longer, and I'll always give you a real date rather than a hopeful one. If you're working to a deadline, tell me early.

Every piece is made to measure, so there's no fixed price list. Cost depends on size, fabric and how involved the job is. Send me a photo and rough dimensions on WhatsApp and I'll come back with an honest quote, agreed before I start. No surprise extras at the end.

Often, yes. Bring me the cushion or a photo and I'll tell you honestly whether it's worth recovering or restuffing, or whether you're better starting fresh. I've brought plenty of tired terrace sets back to life, and I won't talk you into work you don't need.

I'm based in Beniarbeig and cover the whole Marina Alta, so Moraira, Teulada, Dénia, Benitachell, Benissa, Calpe and the villages inland. I deliver and, where it makes sense, fit the pieces myself, because a cover that sits right on your sofa matters more than one that looked right in a photo.

That's completely fine, and it's how most jobs start. A rough thought, a photo, a colour you like. Message me and I'll ask the right questions to fill in the gaps. Part of what you're paying for is help turning a half-formed idea into something that fits your home.

Got something in mind?

Whatever you're imagining for your space, a vague idea is plenty. Message me and I'll come back with honest advice and a fair quote.
